Every day skin prep:
I love to play around with my make-up and create different looks depending on what your skin type is it is important to look after your skin with what it needs. Before applying my makeup I use the following:
1. Lush: Fresh farmacy- use any type of face wash you think or know works well with your skin to give you clear skin; this could be any make such as t-zone, neutrogena, simple whatever suits you.
2. Lush: Tea Tree Water- after cleaning my skin I use a toner, this toner I use is antibacterial and antiseptic which is good for my spots. The toner wipes away any dirt left over from cleansing, either spray directly onto your face with your eyes closed or use cotton wool to wipe away any dirt.
3. Lush: Grease Lightning- using a spot serum I found can help to protect your spots from when you apply your makeup. I have only been using this product since Christmas and I must admit I haven't seen a big chance but i have been applying it to all my blemishes and you can feel the product on your skin. On the bottle it says to dab it on zits before they show themselves so it's slightly a preventing gel which is possibly why it hasn't done much to my skin. I would reccomend the Orgins: Super Spot Remover Blemish Treatment Gel I think this product is better for oily skin. In Superdrug of Tescos a cheaper alternative I love is Clean&Clear Advantage Spot Treatment Gel, it's amazing and works within four hours. It's In a small tube but is handy to carry around in your make-up bag and a product you can defiantly rely on.
4. Lush: Vanishing Cream- this is a moisturiser I've been using recently it has a lovely fresh smell and has made my skin very soft. If you have sensitive skin and haven't found a good moisturer I would reccomend Celestial it smells lovely and is very thick; I think it works well on bright red cheeks or having breakouts with spots. For a cheaper alternative I would buy Simple Vital Vitamin Day Cream its very light on your skin and could possibly use as a hand cream as a face moisturiser I think it's about maybe £4.00 in Tescos.
5. Rimmel London: Fix&Perfect Pro Primer- I've always used this primer and found no faults, it works wonders for my skin and is a great price. I use a pea sized amount on my finger and rub it on blemishes, spots and dry patches so it stops my foundation from crumbling because I get that a lot around my nose and eyebrow area.
